About the Scheinfeld Foundation Founders
Jane Scheinfeld has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance from Syracuse University. Jane Scheinfeld is on the Board of Women at Risk. She is also a member of the International Director's Council of the Guggenheim Museum. As President of the Larry and Jane Scheinfeld Foundation, Jane Scheinfeld concentrates on women's and children's health issues.
Larry Scheinfeld was a principal and financial advisor for the Quellos Group, a company specializing in hedge, private equity and real asset fund of funds, as well as specialty and hybrid offerings. Larry Scheinfeld founded the New York office of Quellos and was a member of its Board of Directors until the company was sold to Blackrock in October of 2007. Blackrock worked with Quellos for a number of years as a sub-advisor before the acquisition. As a result of the merger, the combined business comprises one of the largest fund of funds platforms in the world. Larry Scheinfeld has retired and is currently pursuing opportunities in private equity investments and venture capital.
